The Atlas Chronicle – April – 2022

HOME OF THE SHARKS

Name our Shark

Please give our School Mascot a warm welcome: introducing the Atlas Shark. Students that submitted a drawing will be invited to a special treat on Family Day in September. Those that guessed correctly will receive a special recognition. All will receive points for their houses!

All students are now invited to submit names for our Shark. Names should be presented in a creative way so we can later make something artistic with all of your submissions.

SHARK HOUSES

The student body at Atlas is divided into four Shark Houses: Blue, Thresher, Mako, and Hammerhead. All students have been placed in a shark house to encourage team unity and a sense of community as well as promote school spirit. There are an equal number of students representing each house per grade level permitting both grade level and schoolwide events. House activities and competitions will take place throughout the year.
