ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM

Students develop future-ready skills as they build REAL businesses

Entrepreneurship program that we offer for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Students develop future-ready skills as they build REAL businesses.

This program offers students a real, collaborative, entrepreneurship experience. Students have the opportunity to create and fully develop their own product or service startup.

They work in teams and explore different ideas to solve problems they care about. They work with entrepreneurs and business experts, who serve as coaches and mentors, guiding them through the process of developing their ideas and creating their own enterprises. Finally, student teams pitch to gain investment funds in a final shark-tank-style pitch event.

It is a full-year course where students get an authentic entrepreneurship experience as they develop their own product or service startup.

Some of the skills that this program focuses on developing are:

Communication

Teamwork and collaboration

Problem solving skills

Resilience

Public speaking

Accountability

Creative thinking

Empathy

Students trade out theory and simulation for real market experiences with processes that entrepreneurs use today.  Lean methods help students test their thinking. From concept to MVP to pitch, students are hypothesizing, testing, adapting, and learning. Importantly, they work and learn in teams to gain valuable skills required to be college or career ready.
